Alfalfa microgreens go great on sandwiches and salads. They have a unique mild nutty flavor and add personality to just about anything you use them on. Alfalfa is rich in nutrients such as vitamins C and K. In addition to nutritional value, they also provide lots of antioxidants, promote healthy digestive functions, and lower cholesterol.
“Alfalfa has been shown to decrease cholesterol levels in both animal and human studies. This is probably because it contains plant compounds called saponins.”
There is a long list of traditional uses of alfalfa as a medicinal herb.
They include lowering blood pressure, acting as a diuretic, increasing breast milk production, treating arthritis and getting rid of kidney stones.
Please keep microgreens refrigerated and do not compress them. Microgreens are delicate baby plants that last longer when not left in an overly moist environment. A produce container/bag in the refrigerator can keep Microgreens edible for up to a month. Do not wash the produce until ready to eat. We do our best to clean and inspect our greens so they are free of seed husk and roots.
Harden Farms primarily sells Microgreens to residential and commercial customers in Eastern Wisconsin and we deliver nationwide.
Mission Statement - Live Action Products fosters safe and sustainable recreational use of trails. Through our volunteer network, we assist in the creation, mapping, management, use, and preservation of recreational trails, roads, and routes.
Live Action Products is the production arm of the non-profits we run in our office. Beginning operation in 2010, we found the need to produce quality products that are customized but without the high cost.
Live Action Products manufactures items in metal, PLA, rubbers, and foams. We also embroider and print garments such as shirts, hats and jackets. Signs are produced by plasma cam and powder coated.
Trail Ambassador classes are held online and then field days are completed with certified instructors.
